The opening prayer was said by Odoh Tobechukwu Levi (White) at about 4. 15 pm. Opening remark was made briefly by Mr. Odoh Emmanuel Chidozie, our Vice President, who chaired the occasion. Ugwuanyi Chikwado, Ugwuanyi Chinedu, Odoh Chidozie and Bracket suggested that we should invest more in land by next year (2023), and that a certain amount of money should be set out for the said investment. Ugwuanyi Chinedu & Odoh Dozie spoke about balancing of our account to know how much we have. It was agreed that signatories to the account have to be reviewed in order to have those at home, or those within Enugu to be signatories to our account. The idea is to aid easy access to our money when need be.

There were also discussions on other agenda for the new year. Social responsibilities like quiz competition and award of prizes, assisting indigent students, etc, were discussed and adjourned for further deliberation, subsequently. We also discussed on how to diversify our income generating sources, in other to fund our numerous projects. Pastor ( Chikwado) complained about our poor attendance to functions, and reminded us of the position of the club as regards not meeting up the number of times every member is expected to attend functions in a year.The issue raised by Pastor on poor attendance of our members to functions was adjoined for further deliberation in our subsequent meeting.

Due to want of time, other issues forming part of the agenda was adjourn to our next online meeting. The meeting ended around 5 pm and we moved to the business of the day. We treated ourselves to a sumptuous meal, garnished with assorted meat. We had enough chilled bear drinks, fresh palm wine (Given to us by our patron), foreign wine, and many more. Also worthy of mention is that our patron pledged to give 10,000 naira each to all of our members who celebrated their marriages last year, as a way to support the said marriages celebrated. He said that he had wanted to attend the ceremonies in person, but tight schedules didn’t allow that happen. It was a fun-filled party, and we had a great time dinning together.
